Interiors of old buildings provide clues

Ian Mortimer took some time out from his busy schedule to sit in the Dartmoor sunshine and discuss his passion for history. It is quite evident that the descriptions of him as 'The man who has virtually single-handedly put medieval history back in the hands of ordinary readers' and 'The most remarkable medieval historian of our time' are well-deserved. What might come as a bit of a surprise when thinking of the stereo-typical historian is his love of playing the guitar and German rock music! More about this will be revealed when we get him into our studios in the future.
If you are interested in finding out more about Ian and his work you can visit his website at: www.ianmortimer.com
Ian produces both non-fiction and fiction and is currently working on a new book. Books are available at good high street bookshops or online.
