I've been asked if I can remind everyone that we need to think about requests for our music shows as these are made in advance. If you'd like to send a greeting all you have to do is use the contact link on any page of the website and tell what you'd like us to play for you and in whose show. We'll make sure you get in and make someone's Christmas!
Expatsradio is preparing for its new service to start in the New Year. Following internal re-structuring, the negotiations to secure the services of new presenters and editors are underway ready for the re-launch of an expanded schedule. The plans include more opportunities for listeners to engage with others and even make their own programmes. Watch this space for further updates.

We are currently asking round the estate agencies to find out if a similar up turn is occuring in the property market. We will keep you up to date as more comes in.
Following the re-distribution of Directors’ shares, Expatsradio is going to make major changes to its operations. The team at Expatsradio has been super busy with a range of projects outside the radio station and, as a consequence, we have not been able to keep the blog space up to date. We hope you have enjoyed some of the new materials that have been appearing and that you will keep visiting us. We are adding new members to our group to cover the blog and social media topics we come across but it may be a few weeks before we are set. Have a great summer break!
This week we have a really mixed bag of topics from delicious food to the story of an expat back from the Caribbean. There is also the news that many more expats are coming back to the UK after failing to find the life they had hoped for. Guess what? The faithful travellers cheque we have all used at one time or another seem to be coming to the end of its run. Is it the credit card or do we like to deal with cash? Lots more on EPR for your Bank Holiday weekend.
This is one of those topics that we all try not to think about but which does require planning. We often hear from expats living away from their families who are grieving because they were not in their country of origin when parents died. Listen the the discussion with easyexpat and follow the links to the blog.
It seems we have had the worst of the weather and temperatures are getting better all the time despite reports of snow on the mountains near Coin in Spain! We'd like to celebrate this change with a new show from Jack Snyder. He is heading for Europe for a couple opf months and we'd really like your suggestions for music venues that you think he should visit. Please drop us your suggestions via the contact l;ink on every page of the site.
We're also going to be talink about the protest season in Berlin and of course, we'll have some recipes for you to get the family together.
With so much news coming to us from around the world where destruction of lives and property are featured, we have pulled together some programming to highlight tweets from expats about what they are doing. Not only is this all about hope and positive vibes but also shows the strength of the human spririt to survive and get on with things.
We hope you enjoy the programmes on Expatsradio made with our contributors around the world. Please send us you ideas for topics and we will continue to make features to match your interests.
