AD 2016: an annus disasterosus if ever there was one. Quite apart from the political situation, in the musical world we lost David Bowie early on, to be followed by the likes of Prince and Leonard Cohen. So DJ Sampo pays tribute to the fallen in his final Lost & Found (forever and ever, Amen) and looks back over the year in a rather more positive light, which he shines on some of the best new releases from the smallest independent labels that have nourished his stock. Regulars will not be surprised to find Sun Ra and Anthony Joseph lurking among the shadows, but there are plenty of surprises to accompany you through the early days of 2017. We can but hope for an annus deliciousus.
